1. Juhu and Versova Beach

monsoon to enjoy the enormous waves. The nearest railway stations are Mahalaxmi and Prabhadevi
(Western Line) and Parel (Central Line).
3. Bandra Bandstand
Bandra bandstand is another famous hang out spot in Bandra. This 1.2 km long promenade hosts an
amphitheatre where events (mostly musical events) take place. On Sundays, Jam sessions and many
other events take place along the promenade. The closest tourist attractions are the Mount Mary
Church, Bandra Fort and Bandra Worli Sea Link. Another advantage of visiting this area is the great
shopping. You can get all of your shopping done at Linking Road and Hill Road. The nearest railway
station is Bandra.
4. Carter Road
Carter road is located to the north of the Bandra Bandstand which is fairly new and has mangroves
all over. The area is a prime locality as there are a variety of cafes around. Many Bollywood actors
also stay in the nearby area. Carter Road also has a promenade where you can sit and enjoy the
peace and sunset. There are fishing villages alongside carter road. The nearest railway station is
Bandra.
5. Nariman Point, Marine Drive and Chowpatty
An extension of the vast Marine Drive, Nariman Point houses some of the city’s most expensive
business headquarters, a status it is quickly giving over to Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Nariman
Point is reclaimed from the sea and is a very famous spot as many films are shot there. The best time
to visit here is in the early morning – for a good stroll or in the evening to enjoy the breeze. You can
also explore the grandeur of the Trident and Oberoi hotel or take a short walk through the heart of
South Mumbai and find yourself in the middle of Colaba, the Taj Mahal Hotel and the Gateway of
India.
Marine Drive and Chowpatty attract people from all ages, from youngsters to oldies, and everyone in
